Bidens

Bidens - Bit of Sunshine

Average 50 seeds

With it's cascades of bright yellow flowers and green foliage Bidens Bit of Sunshine will enhance any hanging basket.

Instructions : Sow on a good quality compost, cover with a light sprinkling of vermiculite. Germination approx. 14-21 days at 15-18C. Transplant into 75mm (3") pots. Pinch out the growing tip when the plants are about 5cm (2") tall. Harden off and plant out in late spring.

Geranium

Geranium - Summertime F1

Average 6 seeds

A wonderful trailing ivy leaf geranium from seed. A vibrant mixture of colours with shades of white, lilac, red and pink. Summertime will flower all summer long. Trails/spreads 30-40cm.

Instructions : Sow 1.5mm (1/16") deep in a good quality, moist compost. Propagate at 20-25C. Keep a uniform soil temperature day and night. Transplant seedlings into 75mm (3") pots when they are large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out when all risk of frost has passed.

Impatiens

Impatiens - Envoy Mixed

An F1 Impatiens with a vigorous habit and large flowers 30-50mm. Up to 15 colours in the mixture creating a superbright mass of colour.

Instructions : Sow on the surface of a good quality, moist compost, cover with a very light coating of vermiculite. Do not exclude light. Germinate at 20C. Keep a uniform soil temperature and moisture. When seedlings are large enough Transplant into 75mm (3") pots and grow on cooler and in good light. Harden off and plant out after all danger of frost has passed.

Lobelia

Petunia - Nuvolari F1

Instructions : Sow on the surface of moist good quality compost. Lightly press the pellet into the compost, but do not cover. Propagate at 18-20C ensuring plenty of good light. Grow on at 15-18C. Sweet Pea - Cupid Mix

An extra dwarf variety with 20-25cm (8"-10") cascading vines with sweetly scented flowers in a host of colours. Perfect for hanging baskets or window boxes.

Instructions : Soak seeds overnight before sowing. Sow 3-4 seeds 1cm (1/2"} deep to a 75mm (3 ") pot. Propagate at 18-20C Germination approx 14 days. Grow on at 8-10C. Can also be sown outdoors April - May. Remove spent flowers regularly to encourage more flowering.
