Baby Leaf

Baby Leaf - Baby Leaf

Average 500 seeds

Grow your own delicious mixed salad leaves. The leaves are best picked when young & tender. Simply pull a few leaves from each plant.

Instructions : Sow very thinly 20mm (3/4") deep every 2-3 weeks for a continuous supply of young leaves. Water regularly.

Carrot

Carrot - Autumn King

Average 1750 seeds

Good cylindical shaped roots with good flavour. Stores well.

Instructions : Sow March to July 1cm (1/2) deep with rows 30cm (12in) apart. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, thin out until they are 7-10cm (3-4in) apart.

Sowing : March - July Harvest : August - October

Cress

Cress - Plain

Average 1500 seeds

Can be grown all year round on the window sill. Easy to grow and ready in approx 10 days

Instructions : Sow on moist tissue paper or cotton wool, leave on the window sill until sprouts are 40-50mm high. They are then ready to harves. Do not let the tissue dry out.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin - Ghostrider

Average 12 seeds

Deep orange fruits can weigh 6-10kg. Probably the most widely grown variety for the halloween market.

Instructions : Sow 1 or 2 seeds 12mm (1/2") deep in a 75mm (3") pot, Harden off and plant out 1m (3ft) apart. Can be sown directly into the soil from mid May

Tomato

Tomato - Gardeners Delight

Average 100 seeds

Long trusses of small fruits sweet in flavour. Can be grown outdoors in containers or in the glasshouse

Instructions : Sow Feb - April under glass 18-21C. if you want to grow outside Harden the plants off and plant out toward the end of May. Grow in a warm, sunny position, water regularly.

Sowing : Feb - May Harvest : June onwards
